Find out exactly what kind of person you like, date all kinds of different people. Shit, fuck an oyster..the world is your buffet! I don’t mean sleep with everyone you meet, just get to know lots of different kinds of people. You never know, somebody could bring out a whole new part of you that you didn’t know even existed. Give yourself a chance, odds are you’re not gonna meet your soulmate in your hometown anyways. Just have fun, people these days are so quick to commit and start planning their future that they aren’t living in the now. When you meet that right person, you won’t have to plan every little thing out, it will just fall into place. It happens, I’ve seen it. So, stop keeping yourself up late at night thinking you’ll never find anyone or that no one’s ever gonna be the right one. You are young. It will find you. Go live. Sit at home and watch Friends and eat junk food on a Friday night when all your friends are being lame. Someday you will miss the boredom and freedom and time spent alone. Appreciate what your life is right this second and know just cause society likes to make us think differently, or cause your friends are all getting engaged, or having babies, that you do not have to have somebody else to be happy. I promise.
